If you want to stay away from the alcohol and the sugar, you might consider making iced coffee. Typically iced coffee is made twice as strong, chilled in a refrigerator and then served over ice. Sometimes the acidity from brewed coffee is problematic for some coffee drinkers. In those cases, a cold brewed coffee might be the solution.
