My name is Joanna E. Lopez. I have always had the desire to write since I was twelve years old. I filled volumes of notebooks with short stories and novels I made up. I never showed anyone my work because I didn’t think I had talent until a few years later when I showed them to my friends and family and encouraged me to continue to write.
I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from Columbus University. I plan to go back to school and work on my Masters degree in Creative Writing next year. I have written many articles, short stories, book and movie reviews. I won an Honorable mention award for the Writer's Digest magazine contest. I have sold a short Halloween story last year named World's End to my writer’s group E-zine and Writershood.com. I have also written and published many little humorous stories to Clevermag.com and writersweekly.com. I hope to sell more of my stories and articles in this coming year.
